Surf ATL Update

First, thank you for being a supporter and follower of Surf ATL whether you were new to the community or with us since the beginning three years ago.

There have been two primary parts of Surf ATL — the community development and the project development, with the latter being a goal of bringing a surf park to the greater Atlanta area.

Despite great headway, unfortunately, we are no longer involved in the surf park project in the Atlanta area that we were previously leading — there is progress being made in that area under new leadership so the goal of having a surf park in the Atlanta area is still alive.

We have worked diligently on community development over the last three years and our proud of what has been built — true connections among all types of surfers.

For now, however, we are ceasing all Surf ATL operations going forward from sessions to trips to events (outside of the last trip to Morocco that has already been scheduled). This break will allow us to determine our best path, if any, forward on these fronts.

Again, we want to truly and authentically thank everyone for the love, commitment and support because the community that has been built and the relationships and experiences have been special.
